Welcome to the Sweet Magnolia, a B&B Inn.

A relaxing retreat in Historic St. Marks, Florida.

Our two story, well-appointed Inn offers both king and queen beds and each of our six unique guest suites feature oversized Jacuzzi tubs and private en-suite bathrooms. Striving to meet the needs of our varied guests, rather than a timed morning breakfast we offer 24 hour access to an assortment of food choices. Fresh fruit, yogurt and cottage cheese, cereal and oatmeal, sweet & salty snacks, donuts and biscotti, hot and cold beverages- feel free to grab & go or make yourself at home and enjoy a bite to eat in our dining room. With covered porches, massage chairs, and complimentary bicycles, we invite you to come and experience the comforts our Inn while you relax & recharge at your own pace.

Our St. Marks Inn is located just steps from the Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail. Whether you hike, run, roller skate or bike it... this beautiful, paved trail will not disappoint you.

We are walking distance from the confluence of both rivers: the St. Marks and the Wakulla. A five minute walk will bring you to the waters edge where you can sit and watch the boats go by, enjoy a grouper sandwich from Riverside Café, or a burger and hand-cut fries from Cooter Stew.

You can’t come to St. Marks without paying a visit to our precious St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge & Lighthouse. A five minute drive from the Inn will bring you to Lighthouse Road; the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge surrounds our town. Considered one of the most desired birding spots in Florida, the refuge gives our feathered friends an exceptional reason to stop and rest after escaping the cooler northern temperatures. It was established in 1931 to provide winter habitat for migratory birds. It encompasses 86,000 acres & is an important sanctuary for birds. Over 250 species occur annually and the total number of species recorded here is over 350. It’s also home to deer, bobcats, alligator, eagles, black bear, river otters & wild boar. One of the most photographed landmarks on the Gulf coast, the St. Marks Lighthouse is the second oldest light station in Florida. Attracting nearly 300,000 visitors each year, the St. Marks Lighthouse continues to be a breathtaking sight for visitors and locals alike looking to birdwatch, photograph, hike, fish, picnic, hunt, bike, and simply enjoy the Refuge.

Our historic Inn is located in Saint Marks, Florida — one of the oldest settlements in North America.
